TDC Class winners get to grips with the ultimate racing MINI's

Although the 2016 season was for the most part over there was still one more 'mini' challenge that remained for this years class winners.

Hosted by MINI Challenge UK, each of the 2016 class "Champions" were invited to Snetterton in Norfolk to take part in a test day where they would each get a chance to drive the ultimate racing MINI's. With seat time in both a MINI Cooper-S and a MINI JCW this was a great opportunity for drivers to sample two of the higher spec cars that compete in the MINI Challenge UK championships.

Having already secured the top spot in their respective classes drivers may have thought the hard work was over, however this was no simple arrive and drive test day. Every driver faced the added pressure of an on-track and media assessment during the day.

MSV Trackday instructors provided critical analysis of each drivers performance on circuit while Motorsport Days Director Ben Whibley focused on how well they coped in front of a camera!

With a significantly discounted entry into the 2017 MINI Challenge up for grabs every driver was doing their best to stand out and make their mark.

Assessments complete, Jack Wright was selected as the overall winner of the TDC "Champions" event with MINI Challenge UK.

James Britton was also recognised for his continued progress throughout the day and finished a close second.
