Reade wins following Grave mistake from Pole sitter

Luke Reade took the first win, of his first full TDC season in the Graves Motorsport prepared BMW 1 Series. Following qualifying, where his best lap of the session was only good enough for fifth, Reade pulled out a stellar performance, showing the true potential of the BMW with pace far greater than that of the start of the day. After Harrison recovered from a costly mistake on the grid, the fight for the lead was tough between Reade and fellow Class B front runner Simon Harrison in the Renault Clio. Eventually Reade won out though and held a gap of less than a second over the line to take the flag and the win. Third in Class B were the pair of James Foard and Callum Tuckett, following a time penalty for a pit stop infringement.

Fiestas rounded put the podium in class with Jack Youhill in the 93R Fiesta holding his position from qualifying to take third in the race.
