Since its debut in 2016, TDC has offered a competitive, yet fun and friendly, environment for production saloon, hatchback, and sports car racers to enjoy, with the Championship and class titles going down to the wire each year! Dedicated to clean and close racing on an affordable budget, the TDC has plenty to offer, whether you’re an established competitor or a racer looking for a new challenge.
The class structure will now mirror the feeder Trackday Trophy series more closely, with one race for the Class B, Class C and Class D vehicles and a separate race (albeit on the same day) for the Class S and Class A machinery. Class allocation will continue to be determined by brake-horsepower-per-tonne, which has been used successfully in MSVT’s racing activities over the past few years.
Class S 201 – 225 bhp/tonne
Class B 151 - 175 bhp/tonne
The TDC regulations allow Trackday Trophy competitors to graduate seamlessly, whilst also offering the chance to anyone with a production-based saloon, hatchback or Sports Car to enter.
Races in the championship will be 45 minutes in length and preceded by a 30-minute qualifying session, held on the same day. The races will include a mandatory pit stop and allow driver changes.
The provisional TDC calendar is available by visiting the championship website www.trackdaychampionship.com and includes rounds at many great UK circuits.
Registration opens via the TDC website on Monday 8 January, but if you would like to register your interest or if you have any questions, please contact either Stuart or Sam on 0843 453 3000 or email email@example.com.
